Here is a copy of an e-mail I received the other day:

This came from a friend who, a year ago, was diagnosed with breast cancer. She has been fighting it ever since then, and now, just about a month before her fortieth birthday, this e-mail comes with the news we’ve prayed and hoped for all along.
She is planning a kick-butt Birthday Dance Party in September, and I am So There. We have a lot to celebrate.
Shout for Joy to the LORD, all the earth.
Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
