My friend and hostess (who, as you might have imagined, is Swiss) just came in and informed me that the Swiss won the America’s Cup.
Yes, the Swiss team Alinghi won the America’s Cup.
That’s a sailing race. That’s the sailing race.
Okay, okay, it was two years ago, but Still.
Switzerland is a land-locked country, you know. And it has Alps. Lots of them. So that much of the country is Well Above sea-level.
But apparently you don’t need water to win the America’s Cup– not near as much as you need money. And the Swiss have money In Spades.
We think this is Very Funny.
