I got my first cardio-vascular exercise in– has it been?– nine weeks today: I swam ten laps at the pool. That’s almost a third of a mile. Not bad, huh?
I did it Slowly. I didn’t do it Well. But I did it.
I had actually done about half that on Saturday, and it wasn’t hard, so I thought I’d push it a little today. It felt great. My broken foot (is it still?) complained a bit, but this is weightless exercise, so I know I didn’t hurt anything.
Then I lay in the sun and read for awhile.
Ahhhhh. Life is Good.
