I would love to accept your compliment, and I did do it virtually all on my own, except that tworivers also reads this blog, and she might complain….
She happened to stop by that afternoon (with a glorious potted hyacinth– thank you, tworivers, again), and she did help put a few of the “nails” on. Look how straight they are! So nice. Didn’t she do a nice job?
It was a really spectacular cake, if I do say so myself– and gone in minutes.
