So I didn’t realize this, but in the last entry I only posted photos of the female cousins. How convenient. Here, I’ll post the photos of the boy cousins.

This first photo is Brendan, who is 3 and a half. He is a delightful fellow, and he reminded me of some of the many reasons why I think 3 is one of the perfect ages for a little boy.

And this is Brendan’s baby brother Colin, who is shortly to turn one. If you think he is adorable, then you have judged correctly. For my part, I couldn’t get over how perfectly his forearm resembles a drumstick…. You can’t see that here. It’s only true when his arm is bent, like, for example, when he is sucking his thumb, which is an Extremely Adorable pose for this child.

Perhaps you recognize these two. They were in the ocean As Much As Possible, riding waves Whenever They Could. I highly recommend the surfing shirts– we all had them, and they easily saved us an hour’s worth of sunscreen application, not to mention sunburn.

They loved the water, and only made me nervous every other wave, when their wet seal-heads would disappear under the churning froth for a bit too long….

And here are the other twins, Maggie and Colleen’s brothers: Jack and Padraig. I think that Padraig is the one on the left, but I could very easily (and was, quite often) wrong. Their impish grins are Too Cute, and they amused us all with their busy-ness, wandering around the house, opening doors, trying to chew on sunscreen bottles, pushing their sister’s doll strollers. They are precious. Posted by Picasa
