And you need a day like this one, and probably a day like yesterday, and maybe even (probably) a day like the one before, to help you know that Today Is The Day for Such Things. So that when you’ve saved these things like treasures in the top right-hand drawer of your desk, you can pull them out, and make your tea.
And you need to have Milk and Sugar to add and, preferably, a spoon for stirring.
And then you need to take your steaming tea to your desk, and Very Quietly open your cookies, and then, somehow, everything seems to be Much Better.
