Re-read N.T. Wright’s Most Excellent analysis of Paul’s book of Romans, selecting points for easiest digestion and relevance to our course of study. Again, tomorrow, first period.
Evaluate 19 paragraphs on the Jewish world-view as assumed by the Apostle Paul when he wrote the book of Romans.
Evaluate quizzes students took on Friday, quizzes that cover the world-view of the Renaissance and the expression of humanism and individualism as revealed in Pico de Mirandola’s Oration on the Dignity of Man.
Maybe those latter two can wait until Tuesday?
Determine which steps my 9th grade students next need to comprehend in their research project.
Evaluate their research paper outlines (21 of them), comparing them with the notecards they will submit for that project.
Review analysis of books 15-16 of The Odyssey for our discussion of the same tomorrow afternoon at 12:45.
Review readings on Hellenic Greece to determine which the students should next read in our exploration of the same.
Prepare discussion of Moses’ suit to Pharoah, requesting the Israelite’s release from captivity; include correlation of Moses’ life to that of Christ.
Grade 21 quizzes on forms of government as explored in Herodotus’ Histories.
Compile final list of scenes for our 9th-10th grade Shakespeare performance; edit and assemble scripts for each; schedule audition times and obtain assistance for the same.
Assemble the curriculum plans for 9th and 10th grade Bible for faculty meeting on Tuesday afternoon.
Put away basket of laundry in which three (3) loads of folded, clean clothes have been waiting for a Week.
