Oh Ho!
On April 3, 2007 | 4 Comments | blog |

So you thought you were going to get another post out of me, did you?

Fat Chance.

Do you think– do you honestly think– that after I stayed up Too Late to write my pierced ears saga and, in thanks, got Entirely Too Little sleep and Absolutely No Comments, I would write you, O Reader, Yet Another Post?

Don’t think for one minute that I don’t have them. Don’t imagine that Nothing post-worthy is going on here because, Believe You Me, PLENTY is going on. I happen to have, in fact, a List of blog-worthy items (and photos) to put in this space. But I’m Not Going To Do It. Not tonight. No way.

That’ll learn ya.

I mean, really. I wrote that lifelong story of my journey to pierced ears. I posted on the world-wide-web my own personal idiocy regarding my (only) pair of pierced earrings, and what do I get for my efforts and heartache?

Silence.

Nothing.

Well.

So this is for you, oh disinterested blog-reader you. Here is a non-post, a nothing post, a Big Fat Silence in return for your reading-and-saying-nothing.

How do you like that?

Yes, yes. I realize I just wrote something.

You are So Spoiled.

hahahahaI think your pierced ears post is very nice. It is clever and funny and I especially like the little twists and turns. But I am not going to post a comment on that blog entry. Nope. I’m not. You know why? Because you want me to. Therefore I’m not going to do it. I’m tworivers, you know, and I rarely do what other people want me to do, especially if they tell me what they want me to do. I’m just so … 13-years-old … in that way. So there. But I do hope you were able to get that earring in. I do, truly.

I just read your posts today so I should not punished like your other readers. Did Bill pierce the other ear? Who wears one, just one earring to church on Palm Sunday? You do, and I love you even more for having done that. But, please change the label of your last post. It was not a stupid thing you/we did. It was a rite of passage.
