Out of the Mouths of Babes

Bill had to work late again last night, and I wasn’t hungry at dinner time (remember my sandwich at ! Barnes and Noble?), so the children were eating alone together (yes, I mean that) while I was washing dishes at the kitchen sink.

And, of course, we were listening to How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb by U2, and of course the children were enjoying it, because they are good children, and know what is good.

When song #4 came on, a song that most particularly, we have agreed, kicks our corporate boutakis, Emma Grace cried out, “Bono!”

“What?” I said (the music was loud).

“Bono!” she said. “That’s Bono!”

And that, my friends, is what good homeschooling can do for you.
