Why, it was just yesterday, I think, that you and your children provided a birthday party from your purse at Krispy Kreme for my son, whose mother (that would be me) was too lame to do anything other than buy the donuts and warn the children about spilling drinks. That was just a month or so ago, wasn't it? Or was it 10 years ago?

That pile of clothes. In a year that pile will be the 'I'm not going to take these to college, Mom,' pile. So soon. So fast.
