I am pondering this with the masses who suffer the pictures that still come to mind of children huddled against each other from the onslaught of terror.
Friday morning I taught a Christmas devotion at the Methodist church Before we started with the carol singing at 9:30, the Big Moravian star hangin in the narthex crashed to the floor.
Symbolic of the images in Daniel of evil ascending to Heaven to throw many stars down from Heaven. A picture of Antiochus Epiphanes and coming of theanti christ of the last days.
I actually taught fromt eh Luke passages and ended with Matt 2. The coming of the Magi. We talked about the Shikinah glory that led the Wise men right to the very house where Jesus was.
I pray in this time you write about of anticipation, that we remember the readiness we are to have for speaking in season and out an answer for what we believe. For this King of ours who is coming is the Prince of Peace. Our longing for Him grew in enormous strides on Friday morning. When I arrived home from church,my son asked if I had seen the news..
Rachel weeping for her children. Jesus was born to violence too and all to bring us life. Praying for us all to be courageous in time of danger and stalemate.
To trust Him who is the King of Glory.
