If you have to postpone your writing for a while, just wanted you to know that your time spent teaching has been greatly appreciated. You are my son’s favorite Sunday School teacher! You keep his complicated mind engaged and thinking. He probably wouldn’t read anyone’s blog, but is grateful for your other “love.” And so am I.

If anyone can write a novel or anything else requiring written words to reach the human spirit, you can, Dear Teacher! I’ve read your blog now (most of the entries at least) and they leave me starry-eyed and inspired. Your powers of description remind me of some of my favorite books growing up (and still) – the Anne of Green Gables books. I don’t know if you’ve ever read them before, but when I read them I remember that the world was beautiful once and still is, and that maybe, just maybe, there’s hope that all the innocence in the world isn’t lost! Your writing makes me feel like that, too. And you’re funny! I don’t think you know (or maybe you do) how much of an inspiration you truly are to the students you have taught (and teach now). Well, Know This and Write!
