Ah, yes. I knew this was coming.</></>Where do I begin, oh Big Sister of mine???</></>Here are (some of the?) (most of the?) jobs the children do: empty the dishwasher, set and/or clear the table, clean the bathroom, vacuum the stairs, vacuum the floors, wash the kitchen floor, dust, clean mirrors, clean out the cat box, empty the waste baskets, transfer laundry loads, load washer and start it, feed the cat, feed the fish, clean out fish bowl, water the plants, make their beds, strip the dirty sheets from their beds, put away their clean laundry, and any outdoor work we ask them to do.</></>On Monday, when I did all those chores, the boys swept the upper deck and the stairs attached to it.</></>But prior to that, while I was doing all those chores, they were entertaining a guest and finishing their homework.</></>Homework is a new thing for us, as is this schedule, so I am working on first things first, and haven't gotten them into a routine re. doing chores around school hours.</></>Yet.</></>And putting sheets on bunkbeds is Really Hard to do. I don't think I was putting my sheets on my regular bed when I was their age, so I don't think I'll ask them to sheet a bunkbed.</></>For his part, Bill is a Tremendous Help, but he is also holding down a regular job and planning a HopeFest.</></>I do delegate. I will. Thanks for the encouragement. *wink*

You do so much, brave girl, and you've built a fantastic team. Maybe it's time to start letting Bill, William, Everett, and little Emma Grace start taking a whack a changing their own sheets, vacuuming, and cleaning out the cat box. Delegate, darling one.
