I would LOVE to have a monthly dinner with you and Eric. As you know, I do have a monthly meeting with you (well, it’s as close to monthly as we can manage), but it’s not with Eric and your darlings. I no longer have any kind of monthly meeting with Rachel – or Nat, for that matter.

Does it help at all to tell you that it was Rachel’s idea?

However all I can think is – Where is my scheduled dinner date with the Stevensons? Fine. I will try and refocus. I am delighted that you can have such a happy evening with friends…. so what if you have known me for over 10 years now and we … ok ok. I am grateful that you have so many people to pick and choose from to spend time with.. I am trying to be delighted and grateful for you. REally I am.
